Kerry Green graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in the College of Biology. He then attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan followed by training at Scottsdale Healthcare Family Practice Residency Program. In Scottsdale, he was selected First year Resident of the Year, Outstanding Graduating Resident of the Year, and was a nominee for the Grobe Award (Arizona's Outstanding Third-Year Family Practice Resident). He is a Spring training team physician for the Chicago Cubs and volunteers his medical services for Skyline High School athletics and Boy Scouts of America.
On a personal note, Dr. Green is married and has five children. He's an avid runner and preaches better living through exercise.
Stephen Thomas was born in Mesa and grew up in Tempe, Arizona. He attended ASU and BYU graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Russian in 1993. He earned his MD from The Chicago Medical School in 1997 graduating as a member of The Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. From 1997-2000 he was an internal medicine resident at Mayo Clinic Arizona where he earned the David R. Sanderson award given to the outstanding graduating resident prior to becoming board certified in internal medicine. From 2000-2001 he served as chief medical resident at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He joined the staff of Mayo Clinic in 2001 and enjoyed practicing medicine and teaching internal medical residents serving as their Associate Program Director for 8 years.
Stephen and his wife are the proud parents of 7 wonderful children, including their special daughter with autism.
Amanda Milner, PA-C
Amanda Milner graduated cum laude with her BS in Biology and Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2001. She went on to earn her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005 from Texas Tech University School of Allied Health Sciences. Amanda is fluent in Spanish and has a strong background in pediatric medicine, diet and nutrition. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, training for 10k and triathlon races, and hiking with her family. She is married to her amazing husband with whom she is raising her two young sons.
Natalie Turley, PA-C
Natalie Turley graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University in 2007 with a BS in Biology. She attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ graduating in 2010 with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with an emphasis in Education. Before coming to Skyline Medicine, Natalie worked with refugees from around the world. She is married and has two beautiful little girls. She enjoys hiking, sports and spending time with family.
Heather Cooper, PA-C
Heather graduated from Northern Arizona University with her BS in Athletic Training and a BS in Psychology. She then went on to earn her master's degree from Boston University in Mental Health and Behavioral Medicine, with a specialization in Sport Psychology. Heather then moved back to Arizona where she taught at two local high schools and was the head Athletic Trainer for several years. Realizing she wanted more, Heather attended PA school at A.T. Still University in Mesa, and graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Clinical PA Student of the Year award. She continues to practice as a Certified Athletic Trainer, and has a strong background in orthopedic medicine. Heather is married and had three beautiful dog-children. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, baking, and cooking.
Jared Gunnell, PA-C
Jared graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Biology and Business. He graduated from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2012 with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior work history has been in internal medicine in offices located in Scottsdale and Chandler. Jared is a member of the medical team in Air National Guard 161st. Born in Sacramento, CA, Jared grew up in Mesa, AZ. He is married with 4 children. His hobbies include fishing, camping, and drawing.
